Male Ostrich Miniature Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart

Occupying two sheets of paper, this miniature male Ostrich was created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, commissioned by Canon's website. 

This paper model is part of the Real Animals Series, and on the website, it's stated to represent a male Ostrich running, implying that there might be a female version and perhaps a chick version in different poses. 

If you're using this papercraft for a school project, here are some basic information and interesting facts that might be useful: 

The ostrich is the largest bird in the world and is native to Africa.

It's known for its ability to run quickly and for having a varied diet, which includes plants and small animals. 

They can run at speeds of up to 70 km/h, making them the fastest birds on land. 

Ostrich eggs are the largest among all living birds, weighing up to 1.4 kg and having the capacity equivalent to 24 chicken eggs. 

Despite having large and strong wings, ostriches cannot fly. However, their wings are used for balance and communication during mating.

O avestruz é a maior ave do mundo e é nativo da África. 

Ele é conhecido por sua habilidade de correr rapidamente e por ter uma dieta variada, que inclui desde plantas até pequenos animais. 

Eles podem correr a uma velocidade de até 70 km/h, tornando-os os pássaros mais rápidos em terra. 

Os ovos de avestruz são os maiores entre todas as aves vivas, podendo pesar até 1,4 kg e ter capacidade equivalente a 24 ovos de galinha.

If you are going to use this papercraft for a school project, below I provide some basic information about this beautiful Australian specimen. 

Kangaroos are native Australian marsupial mammals. They are known for their ability to jump long distances using their powerful hind legs. 

Kangaroos also have an abdominal pouch where females carry and nurse their joeys. 

Kangaroos are adapted to life in arid regions and have the ability to conserve water by excreting highly concentrated urine.

They are social animals that live in groups called "troops" or "mobs", led by a dominant male.

Kangaroos are capable of jumping at speeds of up to 56 km/h and can cover distances of up to 9 meters in a single leap.

I'm not sure if I found this website in the great thread "Web Page with Collection of Paper Model Sites" created by my friend John Wagenseil, from Paper Modelers forum, but even if it wasn't there, it's always good to remember that this thread is amazing and full of rare papercrafts, which are really hard to find. 

I'll leave the link to John's thread at the end of this post along with the link to Sega's papercrafts.

Eu não tenho certeza se achei esse website na ótima thread "Web Page with Collection of Paper Model Sites" criada por meu amigo John Wagenseil, do forum Paper Modelers, mas mesmo que não tenha sido lá, sempre é bom lembrar que essa thread é incrível e cheia de papercrafts raros, realmente difíceis de achar.

The Cheetah is an elegant feline, characterized by its yellowish coat with black spots, a small head with distinctive black eyes, and long, slender legs adapted for speed. 

It is the fastest animal on land, capable of reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h in short bursts, allowing it to hunt agile prey such as gazelles. 

The Cheetah has exceptional vision, vital for identifying prey at long distances while hunting in open terrain. Its oval pupils allow for an improved panoramic vision. 

Despite its impressive speed, Cheetahs are vulnerable in food competitions and often lose their prey to stronger predators such as lions and hyenas.
